CIGS Strengths its Relationship with the UFRGS-Brazil

Dr. Patricio Simonetto was awarded a CAPES-PRINT fellowship to visit the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil) and the Philosophy and Human Science Institute. During his visit, Dr. Simonetto will work closely with Professor Benito Schmidt to enhance academic collaborations between scholars studying gender and sexuality in both institutions.  

As part of this visit, Patricio Simonetto will deliver a lecture entitled: "Inverting Sex: A History of Gender Transgressions in Early Twentieth-Century Argentina." Likewise, he will deliver a series of lectures for postgraduate students about the fields of gender and sexuality in Latin America from a global perspective.
