We are pleased to announce that Writing Together Tuesdays is back for the new semester. As always, we meet every term-time Tuesday from 2.45 - 5pm, for a couple of hours of structured, quiet, collective writing time. After a brief intro and goal-setting exercise, we all turn our mics and cameras off and work for 25 minutes, then we come together for 5 mins of chat before going back into another 25 mins of writing. So we do four blocks of writing in total - it doesn't sound like much, but you'll be amazed how much you can get done.

Especially in these difficult times, WTT is not about creating a culture of hyper-productivity, but rather, aims to cultivate a supportive environment to enable slow and steady progress. And even when the words aren't flowing well, you'll find yourself in good company - we've all been there. It's very informal and it's fine to only come along when you think it would be useful to you. The only thing we ask is that you come on time for your first session so that you can say hi to everyone and see how it all works.

If you'd like to be added to the mailing list to receive the weekly Zoom invites, then please email Karen Throsby (k.throsby@leeds.ac.uk). All are welcome from across and beyond the university, including both staff and students at any level.

Looking forward to seeing you there.
